ABSTRACT
The purpose of this study is to find out if auditing is essential in the management of financial institution.  Does financial institutions really needs to audit its financial statement?  This study work has three chapters.Chapter one contains introduction to the study/background of the study, statement of problem, objectives of the study, significant of study, scope and limitation of study and definition of terms.  (Auditing and other related issues)A number of past related literature examined by other studies as it relates to principles, practice and techniques of auditing were been highlighted in chapter two.Finally, the conclusion and recommendations are been made in chapter three, if the financial institution put those recommendation made in this study in use.  There will not only be detection of fraud and regularities but also improvement and growth in the management of financial institutions.
